Terms of Service

Last updated19 May 2026

By accessing or using Money Palava (the "Service"), you ("user", "you") agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms") with Davanji Ltd, the operator of Money Palava ("Davanji", "we", "us", "our"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Plain-English summary: Money Palava is a budgeting tool, not a financial advisor. We don't give you investment, legal or tax advice. We're not liable for any decisions you make based on the app. You're responsible for your own money. Read the full terms below before signing up.

1. The service

Money Palava is a personal finance management web application that provides budgeting, expense tracking, goal setting and debt payoff planning tools. We are a software tool, not a regulated financial services provider. We do not:

2. Your account

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

4. Subscriptions and billing

5. Your data

You retain full ownership of all data you enter into Money Palava. We process it on your behalf only to provide the Service. See our Privacy Policy for full details. You can export your data as CSV at any time and delete your account permanently from Settings.

6. Intellectual property

The Money Palava software, design, branding, logos, content and trade marks are owned by Davanji Ltd or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, redistribute, reverse-engineer or create derivative works without express written permission. The blog content is provided for educational purposes; you may share short excerpts with attribution and a link back to the original.

7. No financial, investment, legal or tax advice

Money Palava is an informational tool only. Nothing in the Service — including the dashboard figures, projections, loan calculators, blog articles, weekly AI check-ins, debt payoff simulations, or any other feature — constitutes:

All content, calculations and AI-generated insights are provided for general informational and educational purposes only. You should consult a qualified independent financial advisor, accountant, solicitor or tax professional licensed in your jurisdiction before making any financial decision based on information from the Service. We do not endorse any third-party financial products, banks, lenders, brokers, exchanges or providers mentioned in blog posts or AI-generated content.

8. Risk disclosure

Personal finance, saving, investing, borrowing, remitting money and currency exchange all involve risk, including the potential loss of principal. You acknowledge and accept that:

9. Accuracy and timeliness

While we make reasonable efforts to provide accurate, current information:

You are solely responsible for verifying any information before acting on it.

10. Data privacy and security

We collect and process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. We aim to comply with applicable data-protection laws, including the UK GDPR, EU GDPR and (where applicable) the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Specifically:

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

12. User responsibility

You acknowledge and agree that:

13. Third-party services

The Service integrates with third-party providers (Supabase for data storage, Stripe for payments, Resend for email, Anthropic for AI digests). We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, security or content of these third-party services. Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms.

14. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Davanji Ltd, its directors, employees, contractors and agents from any claim, loss, damage, liability or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, your violation of any law, or your infringement of any third-party right.

15. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time from Settings. We may terminate or suspend access if you breach these Terms, fail to pay subscription fees, or use the Service in a way that creates risk for us or other users. We will provide reasonable notice except in cases of serious breach or where notice is impracticable.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. Material changes will be notified by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after notification means acceptance of the updated Terms.

17. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you may also be entitled to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence under applicable consumer law.

18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full effect.
